Shimmer and Smiles

If I could get away with wearing shimmer or sparkly attire every single day I would.  

I felt like I struck gold when I found this shimmery gold dress by Thalia at Macys.  It was one of those pieces you find; hold up by the hanger, and just ‘know’ you need to look no further.  It covers and accentuates in all the perfect places.  You can definitely tone it up or down depending on the look you want to achieve.  

I paired the dress with a simple but classic black leather jacket by XCVI Fashion.  What I love about this particular jacket is that it is super versatile and can be combined with so many different looks.  Dress it up, dress it down, it just goes.  Plus, in LA, a leather jacket is the perfect final touch to any type of look day or night.  My shoes are stiletto nude heels by G by GUESS.  The color tone and height of my heels elongate my petite legs so I had no problem giving my toes pain for a quick minute!  

This look also worked well for the overall ambiance and vibe for the evening.  I went out for delicious cocktails at The Edison in Downtown, Los Angeles.  The Edison screams swanky, glitz and glam all on its own.
