I had a great weekend getaway at Carmel Valley Ranch.  I felt as if I was in the middle of no where with lush landscapes and greenery all around me.  Exclusive and serene is the best way to sum it all up.  I wanted an outfit that was not too overdressed, somewhat sporty (but not too casual), and appropriate for the weather and surroundings.  I mixed shades of denim, blue and camel for a subtle beach hue vibe.  My pleated skirt and collared shirt gave me the sporty chic street style I was going for and I dolled it all up with some wedges, a floppy hat, and a purse to match.
