Sun is shining
I spent the day at the beautiful and scenic Bernardus Lodge & Spa in Carmel. My experience here was just as bright as the sun shining in the beautiful sky. There are so many different artistic qualities and design to see throughout the resort grounds. I love the combination of zen, nature, modern, garden, glamour, and traditional all-in-one. The resort is nestled among the oaks and vineyards of Carmel Valley and keeps you in a state of pure bliss. I decided to wear a comfortable (yet boldly printed) maxi dress that was fitting for the ambiance and sunny weather. I felt as though this particular Free People maxi dress was such a statement piece on its own that I didn't need to wear a lot of accessories. I completed the look with comfortable Chinese Laundry wedges and Chloe sunglasses. Most of all, what I love best about maxi dresses with a super high side slit is that it adds a lot of sassiness as you're strutting down your invisible runway.
