Wonderfully Wicked

Wonderfully Wicked

Wicked.  Wonderful.  Wow.

I secretly live vicariously through the cast of Wicked.  Every single cast member exudes radiant charisma and pure talent while performing.  I get so deep into the emotions of the story and playfulness of the music compositions.  I am so lucky and grateful to have Segerstrom Center for the Arts right in my backyard as an outlet to keep my music / dancer / performer soul alive.  I highly recommend the opportunity to watch Wicked if not here at Segerstrom then definitely on Broadway or on tour.  Expect some laughs, some tears, and some emotionally moving acting and singing.  Being able to watch Wicked at Segerstrom Center for the Arts was a treat on its own as I feel that the venue itself is a statement and art piece.   The architecture, manicured grounds out front, and openness of the space truly make it a special hall and venue.  I will continue to keep coming back here for the amazing tours and shows and I cannot wait to see what I get to enjoy next.

As for my outfit, I wanted to dress up but didn't want to be overdressed.  I found this great romper by Jennifer Lopez and felt it was a piece appropriate to showcase that half audience / half 'I wish I was in the show' look.  The cut is simple but the bold blue material jazzes up the simplicity of the design.  Sometimes solid pieces have such a bold color that you need to offset the hue; therefore, I accented the blue with gold and nude shades in my accessories and shoes.

Take a bow,
