Step back

The Getty Villa is a magical escape from reality to history.  In addition to the art, artifacts, and architecture, the gardens and grounds are immaculately kept and allow for an endless day of exploration and tranquility.  

Immediately as you drive past the entrance gates and up the manicured driveway you feel a breath of new crisp air with so much to take in and absorb.  I highly recommend visiting the Getty Villa for its reflection back to ancient times, the sights of all of the beautiful lush greenery and gardens and the opportunity to check off another one of my personal 'things to see/do in LA' favorites.  

As for my outfit, I wanted to comfortably walk around the grounds so I opted for my casual pumas and black cotton tee dress.  To kick up a comfy-type look, simply add accessories.  I dressed this particular look by wearing hat and threw in a pop of color with my red purse.
