Aloha Aulani

Aulani is a magical place.  Not just because it is stamped with the iconic Disney brand but because it is in the heart of Ko Olina.  Ko Olina means joy and joy pretty much sums up how I feel whenever I visit Aulani.  

Walking the resort is like exploring a tropical playground.  There are numerous pools to escape to and each offer a different vibe and scene.  I typically head to the infinity pools to gaze and dream out my dreams with a front row ocean view; however, I also love to lounge near the main pools and keep an eye out for the Disney characters who spontaneously roam about greeting the guests.  Aulani is a place where children, young adults, families and friends can all experience the essence that all things Disney seems to bring - an escape to one of the happiest (particularly in this case, the most joyous) places on earth.  

As for my attire, lately I have been rocking 1 piece bikinis as tops.  When you wear a 1 piece you can walk around in "beach attire" and still look put together, styled and appropriate.  Pair a 1 piece with shorts and you're pretty much good to go the whole day.  The look is simple yet catchy.  I hope this trend picks up even more because I most definitely can add a few more 1 piece staples to my collection.
