Cup of Cheer
There’s nothing more relaxing than enjoying an extra dark drip coffee and croissant from the comfort of your own home. When traveling and visiting in London, you can have that exact type of cheery good morning vibe by visiting and/or staying at The Pilgrm in Paddington London. The Pilgrm serves Workshop coffee in their downstairs entry area and includes a variety of pastries, magazines, a complimentary water station, and welcoming atmosphere. If you want a more homey type setting to enjoy your brew - walk up the handsome rich wood staircase that opens up to a living room seating area and larger lounge area that is more of a dining and kitchen experience. The architecture, decor, and ambiance is a balance of an ‘I’m home slash on vacation’ feel and the staff are extremely genuine and pleasant hosts. The food and drinks were scrumdiddly and the experience was enjoyable because of the simple, classic, and modern vibe. I didn’t realize that The Pilgrm is also a hotel; however, I can only imagine how cute their rooms and stay would be given the hospitality received at their coffee and lounge alone.
As chilly as it was weather wise, I wanted to rock my Moon River jean jacket. It kept my style casual and edgy with the super cute laces on the jacket. Paddington is definitely an area that is walkable so I recommend a comfy pair of boots. I found these Vince Camuto boots with a slight chunky heel that I can walk for blocks in. Luckily, The Pilgrm hotel is walking distance to Marylebone, Hyde Park, Notting Hill, and Bayswater - so sip a cup of coffee and enjoy the neighborhood!
Cheers,
