Dapper Day Dahlin'

The world is my stage and playing dress us is something I love to do every single day. Disneyland’s annual Dapper Day; however, turns up my creativity and joy of fashion up seven levels! I absolutely love thinking up a ‘look’ in the perfect ‘circa ‘30’s - 50’s glam era and making it my own with twists of today’s fashion vibes. Believe it or not this year I didn’t buy a SINGLE new item. Now, quite honestly, I don’t know if that screams ‘saving some dollas’ or if it means ‘you have too many clothes’. Nonetheless, I was able to put together a very fashion forward ‘30’s Hollywood glam collection. Gold/black one piece jumpsuit, black faux furry crop jacket, layers of necklaces and bracelets, huge gold hoops (OK, now this was a little out of era but you can’t ever go wrong with gold hoops!!), jeweled headband, and the biggest of the biggest diamonds (and yes, faux as well LOL). Just comes to show that sometimes, it’s more about working with what you’ve already got, being creative, and just struttin’ down Main street USA like a runway.
