Favorite coffee and pastry spot in Downtown Monterey: Parker-Lusseau Pastries

Oh, Monterey Bay! My hometown! How I love the light jacket weather crisp air, the both casual stunning views, and the historic small town vibes So many walkable areas and stores with the best ma and pa places to support. There’s so much to see overall in Monterey but a for sure go-to area is Downtown (Alvarado & Fremont Streets) for all the good things (food, shops, etc.) to savor.

One of my personal favorite coffee and pastry shops in Monterey is Parker-Lusseau with the most savory pastries and menu. My faves:

  • Almond Croissant

  • Macarons

  • Regular Coffee

This cute coffee and pastry cafe is somewhat tucked away but it’s a must see with the cutest outdoor patio. The homey farm town decor, the melt in your mouth bakery pastries, and small town feel is the best way to start your day. Plus, since it’s a on a side street from downtown (but still close) it’s a great place to start your morning off and then simply walk on over to the other parts of downtown to take in everything else.

Cup of cheer,
