Escape to Europa Village

Europa Village exceeded my expectations beyond the reviews and stars of various blogs and apps that encouraged (marketed) me to go.  I must say that I can thank my lucky ***stars*** because discovering this gem was like uncovering a rare diamond mine.  Immediately when you drive up and see the artful and tasteful open wrought iron gate, you can't help but feel like you've escaped to a magical wine land (and you have).  The beautiful courtyard makes you feel like you're in an exquisite and tranquil setting with the lush florals and cozy furniture all around.  The wine tasting room I wish was not as closed off from the beautiful courtyard but it definitely helps to be in a cool shaded area in the summer heat while deciding on what bottle will be the lucky winner from your tastings.  This time around we decided on a Rosé and selected the Garnacha Rosa 2016.  Polished off the bottle while relaxing in the courtyard and I must say that the day went from a happy day to a Rosé-all-day kinda day!!!  Loved every minute.

As for my ensemble, I typically wear dresses when I'm out wine tasting but it has been super super hot lately.  I wanted something comfortable, light weight, and flowy in terms of material.  I paired jean shorts with a basic tank but dressed it up by wearing a long light blue and white kimono top, tan mule heels, and made it extra fun by bringing out my vintage cherry Louis Vuitton purse.  It was a fun and playful outfit choice overall and I'm glad I got the chance to mix it up with something other than one of my usual go-to wine tasting floral print dresses.  The important thing with style is to just have fun!
