Desert Dessert

Picture this: the perfect warmth of the sun glistening on your shimmering body, holding a refreshing berry cocktail in your overloaded bracelet and ring accessoried hand, and Lana Del Rey's song 'Radio' playing on your portable speaker.  This is a mere fraction of the vibes I felt after visiting this desert dream!  I nicknamed this getaway my Desert Dessert because I just could not get enough of how SWEET this place is!!!

La Quinta Resort & Club offers an oasis of lush landscaping, tranquil waterfalls and pools, and a decor and ambiance that provide the automatic red notification hearts on your Insta pics with the 'Where is this??' comment questions from your friends and followers.  Book your time here as a R&R getaway, a romantic escapade, brunch with your BFF's, enjoy the many seating areas or restaurants, or simply just walk around the grounds.  You will no doubt soak in the desert dessert delight and there is so much beauty to explore at this La Quinta gem.  

As for my outfit, all I knew I wanted to wear were my black ankle cowboy boots since I was in the desert (DUH).  To bring a little flirt to my overall look, I paired it with a black floral dress and a more contemporary purse.  I'm glad I chose a dress with with an overall solid black hue and mini flowers because the true colorful floral accessories were the endless bright and gorgeous landscapes throughout the property.  

As Lana Del Rey would say - "now my life is sweet like cinnamon.... like a F****n' dream I'm living in",
