Berry Berry Boysenberry
Let's just say if I was somehow given the opportunity to eat food for a living, I would signup as a volunteer. Foodie at heart, amateur food critic by nature. I've always wanted to check out Knott's Berry Farm's annual Boysenberry Festival. I mean, all things sweet, savory, salty + boysenberry sauce??? *Raises both hands* Although I loved that majority of the festival food was scattered throughout the cute Ma and Pa nostalgic and historic Ghost Town, I definitely feel they could have better grouped everything together so it appeared more marketable and more all things Boysenberry. A Boysenberry Land is what I was expecting. Although you have to follow a map to find your next taste, it definitely gives a little treasure hunt for your next treat. Without question, the boysenberry ice cream in the waffle cone was worth the hour long wait. Creamy, tarty, sweet, and perfect for an 80 degree spring day. They need to keep that flavor year long round if they don't already. In addition, the most beautiful thing about the park are all of the gorgeous flowers. Photo ops galore!!! The sky rise floral fountain in the middle of the park was beyond your visionary imagination and a definite colorful delight. As for my outfit, obviously you can't break into your true diva style at the park (I mean, it's casual, it's hot, it's not all about you...) so I went with a 'Vibes' printed tee because let's just say that's what this weekend was all about. Food vibes, floral vibes, and overall just positive vibes.
It's a vibe,
