Chateau Cheers

Nestled in the middle of La Quinta is an exclusive and boutique hotel gem, The Chateau at Lake La Quinta.  It's literally tucked away where you wouldn't see it driving off the 'main road' and that's exactly what I love about it!  It used to be a mansion that was formerly used as a bed and breakfast and renovated into the gorgeous luxury lake view guest rooms and fine dining experience that it is now.  It's the new desert meets chic vibe with picturesque surroundings, cosmopolitan decor, and the most welcoming and hip staff.  Immediately when you walk in you take in the stunning staircase, the inviting living room, and the bar that overlooks the best part of this hotel - the lake view!  You simply cannot put a price to the exclusive surroundings and you truly feel you've escaped into a boutique land that feels like desert-meets lake-meets euro vibe that is truly unforgettable.  

As for my outfit for the weekend, I mean, yes is obviously the desert and extremely hot so I went for my lightest sheer dress that is strapless, thin, and half lace at the bottom.  Comfortable, simple, yet still light and flowy with the material.  You truly can wear any type of style at this hotel because there are so many fashion influences to pick up on - the furniture, the decor, the hotel itself, cactus and floral landscaping, etc. all have unique qualities that bring individual flair yet somehow blend as one chic chateau collection.
