As cliche as it sounds, Paris truly is the city of love. Immediately after getting off of the train and rolling my suitcase on the endless cobble stone streets to catch an Uber, I started smiling and glowing like a princess who just met her prince charming. Paris is a city that you can literally just walk around (correction: skip and frolic around) and simply observe and be completely content and happy. Keep in mind that not everything is walkable. If you want to explore all of the must-sees definitely familiarize yourself with other methods of transportation to take you to the general vicinities.

Top 3 most memorable moments in Paris:

  • The Eiffel Tower is simply magical. It’s beautiful in the day and it’s stunning at night - I recommend you make the time to see it in both lights. I was so lucky because our hotel was literally two blocks away from the Eiffel Tower. So obviously morning walks to see it was on the daily agenda.

  • Being at the Notre-Dame de Paris was a very special, spiritual, and peaceful moment that I will always cherish. It’s simply moving to be inside. I highly recommend you take a moment to surrender to the serenity and peace that it may possibly bring you as it did for me.

  • Escargot is also a must. As I like to say with most things in life, “try it - you’ll like it!” And I must admit that I knew how to eat escargot from the 90’s classic - Pretty Woman. hahaha! They were not slippery little suckers this time, thank goodness; but they were delectably seasoned and divine.

My recommendations:

  • Hotel: Renaissance Paris Le Parc Trocadero Hotel

  • Cafe: Cafe du Trocadero

  • Happy Hour: Le Chant des Voyelles

  • Dinner: Le Procope

  • Shopping: the area near Place Vendome

Life is a fairytale my loves!
