Palm Springs. The magical desert land of the glistening sun, tropical drinks, magazine cover decor, and your most chillest and ultimate vibes music playlists. This particular getaway I stayed at The Rivera Palm Springs, A Tribute Portfolio Resort and it was everything described above and more. To be honest, you technically never even have to leave the resort. It has all you need and can imagine. An open and inviting pool, spa, salon, multiple restaurants, happy hour, nighttime entertainment, and the most picturesque decor and lobby with endless photo ops and instaworthy backdrops. However, if you’re looking to explore and adventure outside of the hotel, it’s perfectly located in the Uptown Design District close to the town’s trendiest restaurants, classic downtown, and all of the must-sees.

What I loved most about the resort was the entrance, lobby, and multiple chill areas / sitting rooms. Basically when you walk in, to your left is a beautiful lobby with a turquoise and white statement piece wall. Directly to the right of that is a huge bright staircase that leads you to an open and wide hallway that has multiple sitting areas / mini living rooms that you can enjoy drinks, conversation, laughs with old and new friends. There’s a pool table in the middle as well with bookcases of games/books to peruse. It’s such an inviting atmosphere that is not closed off. It allows for the perfect setting to socialize if you’re extroverted, and people watch if you’re introverted (or maybe a little of both). The hotel rooms are a little dated in terms of wear and tear on walls and furniture, but you will still appreciate and enjoy the modern and hip furniture and pictures, the yummy smelling toiletries, the upbeat energy and flow of the hotel overall.

P.S. I <3 you,
